The Only President To Pay Off The National Debt was General Andrew Jackson, one of the greatest Americans. He whipped the British in the War of 1812 at New Orleans, outnumbered probably by more than 2 to 1; a very important and crucial victory, preventing the British from going up the strategic Mississippi River. He also whipped the Native Americans more than once, some of whom killed his relatives. He also, in 1836 or thereabouts(?), prevented South Carolina from seceding, saying he would hang any traitors. That scared them off, LOL. Nobody messed with General Jackson!
