Fed is scheduled to end its mortgage-securities purchases
The Fed is scheduled to end its mortgage-securities purchases from Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac at the end of March. This means that Quantitative Easing (QE) ends then, because, the $1.25 Trillion in MBS (Mortgage-Backed Securities) purchases is where most of the QE, massive Fed Credit growth, came from.
